It contains a fairly high percentage of A-acids, capable of significantly raising the IBUs of a recipe, but is more widely used mainly for its rich aromatic elements characterized by lemon, grass, lime and tropical notes of grapefruit, melon, passion fruit, blackcurrant and lychee.
