Grainfather Cooling Pump Kit

The chill pump kit allows Grainfather conical fermenter users to control fermentation temperature with cold water by pumping it through the insulated double-walled interior. Use this if you don’t have a glycol cooler and still want to control the temperature. Temperature control is one of the most critical elements in producing a good quality beer. It must be regulated and consistent throughout the fermentation process to ensure that the yeast is not stressed and is properly fermented to achieve the right flavor profile. To chill with your Grainfather conical fermenter, you need to have the conical fermenter temperature controller. Then, when your target temperature is below the temperature of the wort in your fermenter, the Cooling Pump Kit pumps ice water through the insulated double-walled interior to cool your fermenter. Simply connect the couplers and insulated hoses to the Conical Fermenter, immerse the submersible pump in a cooling container with water (add ice for the required temperature) and pump the liquid through the insulated cooling jacket of the Conical Fermenter body.
