5.2 pH Stabilizer stabilizes water at 5.2 pH, regardless of its initial pH. It is safe, edible and does not leave a taste or odor in the beer. The stable pH in the water helps in the repeatability of the brewing process and therefore in the consistent quality of the final beer. The quality, hardness and pH of the water affect the activity of enzymes, the solubility of salts, proteins and sugars, as well as the perceived bitterness of hops.
